Layouts

Choose the best layout for your website home page and category pages, and display your products exactly as you want.

Layouts refer to the different arrangements and structures of your home page and category pages where your products are displayed. Shappio offers a variety of layouts with different display combinations. For instance, you can choose to display 4 products in a row with a right-side banner panel or three products in a row with no side panel banners on your home page product grid.

It is important to note that applying a layout does not change any design elements of the theme; only the overall layout and structure are updated. All other design elements of the theme remain the same.

Home page layout

To select a new layout for the website home page:

  1. From your Shappio admin, go to Design > Layouts
  2. Click the Home Page Layout tab (It should be selected by default)
  3. Choose a layout and click Apply
  4. Click View Store on the top right of the admin panel to view the updated layout on your online store.


Category pages layout

To select a new layout for category pages:

  1. From your Shappio admin, go to Design > Layouts
  2. Click the Category Page Layout tab
  3. Choose a layout and click Apply
  4. Click View Store on the top right of the admin panel to view the updated layout on the e-commerce website.
