  4. As a user of Shappio, you may obtain your customers' email and/or shipping addresses through the buying and selling process. By agreeing to our User Agreement, you only use other users' Personal Information obtained through Shappio for Shappio-related communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages. Shappio strictly prohibits spam, and you are not permitted to add someone who has purchased an item from you to your mailing list (email or physical mail) without their express consent.

This may include subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, or other legal proceedings, or if we believe in good faith that applicable laws require us to do so, with or without notice to you.

Data Storage

Shappio maintains ownership of the data storage, databases, and all rights to the Shappio application. However, we do not assert ownership over your data; you retain full ownership rights. We will not contact your clients directly or use your data for our benefit to compete with you or market to your clients.

Shappio is committed to ensuring that users have control over their personal information and provides various rights to users depending on the way they use the Shappio Services. Users may request access to, receive a copy of, update, amend, or delete, port certain Personal information to another service, restrict, or object to specific uses of their Personal Information. Users may also withdraw their consent to process their Personal Information at anytime.

Shappio will not charge users more if they exercise these rights and will continue providing the same service level.

​Before fulfilling a user's request, Shappio may ask for additional information to confirm their identity and for security purposes. Shappio reserves the right to charge a fee where permitted by law (e.g., for unfounded or excessive requests).

Users have the right to file a complaint with their local supervisory authority for data protection, but we recommend that users contact us first.

It is important to note that permanently deleting a Shappio account will erase all. When you permanently delete your Shappio account, all of your Personal Information is erased from our databases and cannot be restored or retrieved in the future. Additionally, you will no longer be able to use any of our services, and if you contact our support channels in the future, we will not be able to locate your deleted account. Recognize your account, and support agents cannot find the deleted account.
